My fees are based on a Standard Fee of $246 per hour. I have always made a point of publishing my hourly rate and the best estimate of the duration and expense of the overall mediation process. When you are planning for a divorce, you deserve to have a concrete idea of the duration and cost.
Based on the results of my research on publicly available websites as of April 9, 2026, I have concluded that I offer the lowest publicly posted hourly rate among Portland-area divorce mediators with law degrees. (Comparison methodology available upon request.)
Mediation sessions are two hours. Additional mediation time and/or other services are billed at $246 per hour, in increments of 0.25 hour.
Some aspects of the Marital Settlement Agreement, Parenting Plan, and child support worksheets are billed as a flat fee or a fixed number of hours.
There are three fee structures, differentiated primarily based on whether you have: minor children; adult children 18-20 years of age and attending school; or no children under the age of 21.
